He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sons, Christopher J. Mattson (Lisa) of Rosemount, MN, Kurt R. Mattson (Penny) of Chandler, AZ and Dirk P. Mattson (Melinda) of San Antonio, TX; and his granddaughters, Sarah Bockwinkel (James), Katelyn Schoen (Peter), Laura Popehn (Richard), Brittany Rima (Erik), Emerson Mattson, Ainsley Mattson and Eva Mattson. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and friends.
