It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Weiss of Rosemount, Minnesota, born in Warren, Minnesota, who passed away on June 9, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Krohn and Johanna Krohn (Jensen); her husband Leroy Weiss; and her siblings, Janice Noreen and Duane Krohn.
She is survived by: her former husband Frank John Mead; her children, Kathryn Mead of Duluth, MN, Lorna Vooge (John) of Champlin, MN, Julie Leaks (Larry) of Brooklyn Center, MN and John Mead of Viking, MN; her grandchildren, Shauna Stroud (Shannon), Brandon Waite, Dee Mead, Jennifer Kenfield, Jessica Kenfield, Jacob Kenfield, Jalisa Leaks, Charlene Leaks and Cassondra Leaks; and her great grandchildren, Sabrina, Salem, Kaidon, Delaisha, Kaira, Aliyah, Damion, Lilianna and Jacoby. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN, following all of the Minnesota and CDC covid-19 guidelines.
