We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2019, at the age of 83, John J. McDonald (Rosemount, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Andrew John Kaer, Christopher and Jonathan Yzermans; his parents, John L. McDonald and Honora Carigan (Russ); and his siblings, Mary Crouse, Dorothy Garis and Robert McDonald.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine; and his children, Steve (Pam), Diane Kaer, Christine Maki (Stu), Dan (Patty), Bridget Powers, Theresa Yzermans, Jeanette Reed (Craig), Irene Jacobson (Blake), Martha Rietveld, Kevin (Karlene), Matt (Amy) and Andy (Heidi). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
