He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Rechtzigel (Sachs) and Louis Rechtzigel; his wife Evelyn Dahm; his grandson Wade Rusty Rustad; his son-in-law Ken Rustad (Corky); and his brother Louis Rechtzigel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Taylor (Ralph), Gail Rustad and LuAnn Olen; his friend Sheldon Sachs; his sister Auverne Raatz (Bob); his sister-in-law Carol Rechtzigel; his grandchildren, Amy Zylstra (Andy), Jonn Taylor (Holly), Peter Taylor, Katie Jelinek, Rebecca Jump (Matt) and Andrew Taylor; his great grandchildren, Michael Taylor, Rhett Zylstra, Donovan Bradshaw, Reese Zylstra, Emrys Bradshaw, Hanna Kincaid, Jessica Bradshaw, Callista Taylor, Megan Bradshaw and Gabriella Perez; and his great great grandchildren, Vanessa Taylor and Westin Zylstra. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 Great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
