He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin and Bernice; and his brothers, Chester, Erland and Filmore.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Krueger; his children, Doug Engelman (Carolyn), Dean Engelman (Cheryl) and Denise Starnes (Brent); his grandchildren, Jason Starnes (Christa), Courtney Starnes (Drew), Anne, Alex Monjeau (Kyle), Leah Porter (Randall), Melissa Coleman (Ben) and Grace; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Brayden; and his sisters, Rosalie, Rosemarie (Jim) and Janice (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
