He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Ellen. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Amy Maldonado (Daniel) and Matthew (Tera); his grandchildren, Miles, Aidan, Macy, Abby, Alice and Eldon; and his sister Dorothy Mae Riddle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association .
