He is survived by: his wife Joan Hulst; his daughter Myrna Nelson (Keith) of Roseau, MN; his grandchild Ryan Nelson (Tori); his great grandchild Summer; his granddaughter Heather Vatnsdal (Ben); his great grandchildren, Jonas and Greta; his grandchildren, Kyle Nelson and Mark Hulst (Jennifer) of Minnetonka, MN; his great grandchildren, Sam and Max; his grandson Michael Hulst (Renee) of Gig Harbor, WA; his great grandchildren, Emma and Sutton; his granddaughter Melanie Larson (Sean); his great grandchildren, Alexandra and Anna; his granddaughter Mary Preteau (Chuck) of Roseau; his great grandchildren, Janna and Karina; his sister Lois Olson of Felton, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Leelan Evans (Joni), Dennis Olson, Harley Olson, Ione Olson (Gary), Ruth Kruse (Pete), Jane Evans and Louise Vatnsdal (Lorris). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
