He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Harrison Olmstead and Mary Olmstead (Brekke); and his wife Velma C. Olmstead. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Olmstead (Devra) of Grafton, ND, Valerie Hesse (Marty) of Fargo, ND and Dianne Hedlund (Dan) of Hartford, SD. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
