She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thomas and Virginia Thomas (Sova); her brother Terry "Lucky" Thomas; and her grandson Kasey McCourt. She is survived by: her husband David McCourt; her sons, Kevin (Nicky), Mark and Marc (Tara); her grandchildren, Kyle (Danielle), Kelli and Brandon; her great grandchild Connor; her siblings, Mary Ellen Smith (Donald), David Thomas, Debbie Wormley (Greg) and Christine McCrady (Dennis Ubel); and her close friend Pat Delapp. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
