He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hermansen and Nellie Hermansen (Haakonseth); and his sister Evelyn. He is survived by: his wife Annette; his children, Karin Hermansen (Scott Eckstein), Louis B. Hermansen (Jane) and Lisa Hanson (David) of Two Harbors, MN; his grandchildren, Dane Hanson (Valerie), Kyle Hanson, Louis A. Hermansen and Christian Hermansen; his great grandchildren, Briella Hanson, Decker Hanson and Louis J. Hermansen; and his brother Norman.
Memorials to Messiah Lutheran Church Sunday School or Roseau Public Library Children's Collection are preferred in lieu of flowers.
