It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Douglas of Roseau, Minnesota, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Edwards Douglas (Sumner) and John M. Douglas Sr.; his wife Margie Gail Haugen of Roseau, MN.; his daughters, Sara Jane LePard and Lora Leigh Douglas; and his brother George Douglas.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Douglas (K. C.), Aaron Douglas (Christa) and Michael Douglas (Misty); his grandchildren, Madison, Kaia, John, William Douglas, Jacob, Adam, Mason, Ben LePard, Sophia, Grayson, Jaxon Douglas and Mackenzie Douglas; and his sister Rachel Kelsey (Matt). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Never doing things halfway, he also got into making bird houses and feeders, building hundreds of them over the years that he donated for various causes.
