She was predeceased by: her parents, August Solem and Agnes Solem (Holt); her husband Lloyd Jalmar Wellen; and her sisters, Marlys Solem and Phyllis Strozyk.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Desjardins (David), Patricia Fries (Greg), Donald Wellen (Lois) and Harlan Wellen (Norma); her sister Olive Foss; and her sisters-in-law, Ethel Wellen, Ruby Hukee and Luella Mohagen. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
