He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Olafson and Erma Olafson (Karlson); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Evelyn Larsen; his siblings, Betty Ann Landin (Olafson), Curtis Olafson and Conrad Olafson (Connie); and his sons, Wayne Olafson and Scott Olafson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Olafson (Larsen) of Roseau; his children, Mark Olafson (MaryAnn) of Roseau, Joni Bedard (Mike) of Roseau and Nathan Olafson (Stephanie) of Badger; his daughter-in-law Shelly Olafson of Roseau; his siblings, Mardell Falk (Olafson) of Salol and Vernon Olafson (Odale) of Roseau; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Olafson and Lauraine Olafson of Roseau; his grandchildren, Sara Magnusson (Erik), Cody Olafson, Brittany Heppner (Joe), Aaron Olafson (Chelsea), Kyle Wensloff (Jessica), Austin Wensloff, Kiah Olafson, Ivan Olafson, Eli Olafson and Angie Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Bryden, Easton, Kambrya, Eaden, Audrina, Everett, Jordyn, Liam and Felix. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
