He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Kompelien; and his niece Chelsea. He is survived by: his mother Marie Kompelien (Gross); his siblings, Sheldon Kompelien (Tanya) of Badger, Sharon (Jay) of Halas, Janalee Brandt of West Fargo and Melanie Niday (Roger) of Becker, Minnesota.; his nieces and nephews, Amber, Lisa, Andrew, Olivia, Kassandra, Ethan, Tim (TJ), Megan, Laura and Logan; his great-nephew Asher; and his great-niece Carly. He is also survived by friends, cousins, brothers-in-law.
When attending services if you are unvaccinated the family would prefer you to wear a mask.
