It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwina M. Lasneski of Roseau, Minnesota, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lussier and Anna Lussier (Hanson); her husband Gene; her son Eugene E. Lasneski; and her siblings, Sarah, Margaret, Gaylen, Charles, Edward Jr. and Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Haugen (Curtis), Janice Foss, Greg Lasneski (Lori), Dale Lasneski (Lesa), Shirley Griffin (Brent), Sharon Wellen (Larry) and Carol Winger; her grandchildren, Sarah Foss, Brian Foss, Andrea Wichner, Emily Lasneski, Amanda Lasneski, Daniel Griffin, Jessie Griffin, Adam Griffin, Laura Kasprowicz and Riley Winger; and her sister Adelma Oakgrove. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 4:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helgeson Funeral Home (1207 3rd St NE, Roseau, MN 56751). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Roseau (403 Main Ave N, Roseau, MN 56751).
