He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Kofstad and Sophie Kofstad (Vistad); his sisters, Marlet and Jean; and his son Timothy.
He is survived by: his wife Elna Kronberg; his sons, Robert (Shelly) and Scott (Kelly); his daughter-in-law Janell; his grandchildren, Jordan (Breanna), Sarah (Zach Johnson), Josh, Brandon (Taylor), Katelyn and Logan; his great grandchildren, Ali, Ben, Charlie, Lauren Kofstad, Clara and Thor Johnson; and his brother-in-law Jerry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
