She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sabourin and Margaret Sabourin (Zahl); her grandson Thore Mertens; and her sister-in-law Lynn Sabourin. She is survived by: her husband Dave Hovda; her children, Tyler Hovda (Christy) of Roseau, Tanner Hovda (Trudy) of Roseau and Kelly Mertens (Jake) of Roseau; her grandchildren, Bodee, Kade and Breck Hovda; her children, Jasmine, Paige, Logan Hovda, Memphis, Mack and Boyer Mertens; her siblings, Rick Sabourin, Jeanne Bleau and Dennis Sabourin (Carolyn); and her stepfather Howard Eklund. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
