It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Crystal Y. Byfuglien of Roseau, Minnesota, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Brandt and Lena Brandt (Lisell); her husband Kenneth Byfuglien; her children, Jana and Don; her children-in-law, Doyle Hammer and Linda Byfuglien Monkman; and her brother-in-law Clyde Turner.

She is survived by: her children, Dana (Marianne Byfuglien), Susan (Randy Kvien), Valerie Sherman, Dean (Nicole Byfuglien), Cheryl Byfuglien, Krisann (Dale Thortsen) and Jeremy (Penny Byfuglien); her close friend Pat Olson; her sister Shelia; and her siblings-in-law, Ole Olson, Bob, Vangie Byfuglien and Vivian Turner.
