She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Thompson and Chrystella Thompson (Nelson); her husband Stanley Carlson; her son-in-law Craig Linder; her brothers, Clinton, Walter, Roy and James; and her close friend Gilbert Loe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rose Finstrom (Gene) of Buxton, Crystal "Cris" Finstrom (Dale) of Glyndon and Bonita "Bunny" Carlson of Fargo; her grandchildren, Dawn Linder, Darren Linder, Gretchen Tinjum (James), Matt Finstrom (Amy), Laura Finstrom and Dave Finstrom (Tiffanie); her great grandchildren, Donavan Linder, Dalton Linder (Sarah), Devon Linder (McKenna), Drake Tinjum, Vivian Tinjum, McKenzie Finstrom, McKayla Finstrom, Elijah Finstrom, Isabel Finstrom and Ezekiel Finstrom; her great great grandchildren, Finley Linder and Otto Linder; and her sister Bernice Knudsen.
