He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Carlson and Lena (Ringius); and his siblings, Norma Anderson (Stanley), Gwen Nelson (Clarence), Ernest, Dennis (Helen) and Lowell.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Erickson (Jeb) of Roseau, Shane Carlson (Melinda) of Roseau and Pete Carlson (Nicole) of Centerville, MN; his grandchildren, Savannah, Elias (Kiawna), David and Adam; his siblings, Clayton Carlson (Barbara), Sharon Orvis and Carol Carlson; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Carlson and Linda Carlson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
