With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ella Bendtsen (Rose Creek, Minnesota), born in Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Emery and Margaret Emery (Gorman); her husband Myles Bendtsen; her sister Margaret; her daughter Janel Gleason; her grandson Scott Bendtsen; and her son-in-law Jim Newstrom.

She is survived by: her brother Myles; her mother-in-law Mary; her children, Kathy Larson, Randy Bendtsen (Diane), Austin, Brad Bendtsen (Lorrie) of Peoria, IL, Denise Lewison (Tom) of Rose Creek, Alane Bendtsen Owatonna (Steve Searl), Les Bendtsen (Rick Buchholz), Mary Johnson (Ross), Melanie Worrall (Brian) of Huron, SD, Dean Bendtsen (Renae) and Rose Creek; and her sister Jannette Belden (Emery). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Peter's or the donor's choice.
