It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Miner (Rose Creek, Minnesota), born in Ventura, Iowa, who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Miner and Mary Miner (Stites); his brother Merritt; his children-in-law, Tracy Miner and Daryl Peterson; and his siblings, Morris "Mike" Miner (Grace), Maynard Miner (Marlene), Meda McCloud (William) and Morna Sathre (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Miner; his children, RaeAnn Peterson, JoEllen Isenberg (Wayne) of Spring Valley, MN, Carol Callahan (Craig) of Austin, MN, Doug Miner (Danna) of Terre Haute, IN, Sherilyn Miller (Lynn) of LeRoy, MN and Wanda Edge (Doug) of Grand Meadow, MN; his siblings, Skeeter Miner (Shirley), Mary Mortenson, Merryelle Whitaker and Milda Weness (Dave); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Hegge and Darrell Bloom. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service was held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 with Shirley Gangstad officiating at Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Adams American Legion Post 146 at 321 W Main St Adams, MN 55909 or to the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum at 2450 540th St Granite Falls, MN 56241.
