He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Herber; his brother Milo; and his father-in-law Bill Parker. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Herber (Jereczek) of Winona; his wife Lisa of Rollingstone; his children, Max of Boulder, CO and Sophie of Rochester, MN; his siblings, Jo Dailey, Dewey Herber (Cindy), Scott Herber (Michelle), Mike Herber and Charlie Herber; and his mother-in-law Linda Parker. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He adored the Rocky Mountains and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
