He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Horbal and Sylvia Horbal; his siblings, Robert (Bobby) and Joanne; and his daughter Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his son Bradley (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Brennen and Katelyn; his siblings, Karen Langford (Don), Joyce Schnell, Rebecca Burton (Rick) and Russ Horbal (Sandy); and his son Brad. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
However, the family would prefer donations be made to the American Legion in Osseo Minnesota.
