She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhard Spohnholtz and Betsey Spohnholtz (Christianson); her husband Trinidad Ortiz; and her siblings, Kathleen Rosin, Gloria Anderson (Milton), David Spohnholtz and Roy Spohnholtz.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Virgil Rosin and Claire Spohnholtz; her godchildren, Jeff Anderson and Courtney Stewart; and her close friend Karin Warren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
