It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell Mattila of Rogers, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mattila and Illa Mattila (Kivisto); his brother Dean Mattila; his great grandchild Susannah Wurm; and his niece Diane Freese.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Kidder (Steve) and Debra Bohle (Frank); his grandchildren, Aaron Wurm, Anne Rice (Blake), Alex Wurm (Ashley Schulte), Amber McCreath (James), Jolyn Green (Matt), Benjamin Kidder (Jian Xu) and Isaac Kidder; his great grandchildren, Caleb and Declan Wurm; his grandchildren, Jack, Max Rice, Taylor, Madison, Scarlett Wurm, Henry, Edward McCreath, Chase, Pierce, Finn Green, Sebastian and Ava Kidder; his nieces, Sandy Mattila and Julie Burchette; and his close friend Judy Hanson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to Osseo United Methodist Church; Word of Peace Lutheran Church, Rogers; or the American Cancer Society.
