It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharron Lee Olsen (Rockford, Minnesota), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smiley and Margaret Smiley (Gearhart); her husband Richard Olsen, Sr.; and her son Richard Olsen, Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Donald Smiley, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; her daughters, Cindy and Jennifer Hance (William) of Rockford, MN; her grandchildren, Nicholas Olsen, Michael Olsen (Caity), Emilie Hance, Molly Richter (Scott) and Andrew Hance; and her great grandchild Auggie Olsen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Sharron is predeceased by her parents Donald and Margaret Smiley, her husband Richard Olsen, Sr., and her son Richard Olsen, Jr. Due to the current restrictions in the State of MN related to COVID-19, an in-person memorial service is not possible at this time.
