He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kranz and Adeline Kranz (Marengo); his wife Linda of Year's Eve; his grandson Travis; his great grandchild Carson; his son-in-law Brian; his siblings, James, Ronald, Henry Kranz, Pearl Larson, Violet Kranz, Jeanine Perrin and Sharon Johnston; and his siblings-in-law, Merle Johnson, Raymond Bliss, Roy Larson, Fred Johnston, Shirley Kranz and Margaret Kranz.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Kranz (Linda) of Sunrise, Melanie Jabs (Matt) of Cambridge, Melissa Borgman (Mark) of North Branch and Christopher Kranz of Brooklyn Center; his sisters, Audrey Johnson and Lois Bliss; his grandchildren, Jeremy Wingness, Josh Wingness, Jordan Kranz, Justin Kranz, Alexis Kranz, Dawson Kranz, Kyle Nordlum, Dylan Jabs and Ashley Jabs; and his great grandchildren, Payton, Anna, Liam, Landon, Colton, Eva, Kymber, Bennett, Cullen, Mathew, Adeline, Hailey, Axel, Laila, Lennon, Nathan and Dozer.
