He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Gabriel and Betty Gabriel (Burke); his brother Kevin; and his niece Melinda. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob and Jeffrey; his stepdaughter Rory (Randall); his stepmother Bovaird; his brothers, Mark (Brenda), Paul (Judy) and Eric (Kelly); his stepbrother James Held (Sheila); his sister-in-law Shari; his grandchildren, Anna, Samuel, Leo and Joseph; and the mother of his children Beth.
