It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Loverink (Rochester, Minnesota), who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bertelsen and Bertha Bertelsen (Treiber); her husband David Loverink; and her siblings, Joann Greene, Kay Willroth and Gary Bertelsen.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Sappington (Robert) of Rochester, Minnesota; her grandsons, Benjamin Sappington (Jordan) of Kenosha, Tyler Sappington (Holly) of Pine Island and Jacob Sappington of Rochester, Minnesota; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Leroy and Rhett; and her siblings, Betty Bond (Donald), Terry Bertelsen (Linda) and Larry Bertelsen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
