He is survived by: his mother Cleo Barnett (Carmack); his wife Amy Barnett; his children, Matthew Barnett (Stephanie), James Barnett and Carie Archer (Josh); his grandchildren, Dietrich Barnett, Nora Barnett, Matthew Archer and Jacob Archer; his brothers, Steven Barnett, Sam Barnett (Gail) and Stacy Barnett; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Barnett (Charissa), Ross Barnett (Tina), Jacob Freese (Jessica), John Freese, Jesse Barnett (Shavaun), Corinna Compton (Justin) and Jamie Ofsthun (Aaron).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
