He is survived by: his wife Vicky; his pet Lily; his son Michael Bolen (Shannon) of Superior, WI; his stepchildren, Jeremy Grabau of Greenleafton, MN and Melissa Musel (Reggie) of Wykoff, MN.; and his siblings, Bill Bolen of Two Harbors, Helen Merritt of Two Harbors, Mary Udenberg (David) of Two Harbors, Maggie Olson of Two Harbors and Karen Amundson of Burnsville, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mn State Veterans Cemetery (715 US-52, Preston, MN 55965). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the VFW Post 1215 (2775 43rd St NW, Rochester, MN 55901).
