She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marcou and Marie Marcou (O'Leary); her children, Gary, Mike, Randy Zirbes, Linda Henry and Barb Zirbes Beranek; her grandson Kim Zirbes; and her siblings, Jim Marcou and Mary Heiam.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence "Red" Zirbes of La Crosse, WI; her children, David Zirbes of Crookston, MN and Rhonda Franken (Mike) of Red Wing, MN; her children-in-law, Mike Henry of Rochester, MN, Bob Beranek of Punta Gorda, FL, Carol Zirbes of Rochester, MN, Judy Zirbes of Greenville, FL and Sharon Nesler of Pine Island, MN; and her sister Betty Purdy of Westmoreland, TN. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: 16 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral of St. John The Evangelist (11 4th Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902).
