He was predeceased by: his parents, George Coe (Carol) and Alvina Pretzer (Myron). He is survived by: his wife Jane Castner; his children, Kara Weiland (Sean) of Duluth, Kevin (Lena) of St. Peter, Kyle of Spokane Valley, WA, Kristopher (Deanna) of Strum, WI, Kassandra Niemi (Nicholas) of Winona, Kellan of Byron and Kameron (Paulina) of Byron; his grandchildren, Moira Weiland (Sam Gelhorn), Elora, Mannix Weiland, Anthony, Sarah, Mallory, Clayton Coe, Nathaniel, Benjamin Niemi, Luka and Lana Coe; his siblings, Pam Doyle (Tim), Tim Pretzer (Darla), Cindy Wolfe, Sandy Norton (Brian), Jackie Parsons (John) and Jennifer Coe-Lutz; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Cairins (Tony) and Jill Marquardt. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
