She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mines and Ardella Mines; and her brothers, Chuck, Jim and Dan.

She is survived by: her children, Marisa Luna (Tony) of Rochester, MN and Jesse Sheeran of Tijuana, Mexico; her granddaughter Magnolia Sheeran; her great grandchild Isaiah Sheeran of Rochester, MN.; and her brothers, David Mines, Steve Mines (Marguerite) and Terry Mines (Donna). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Mary would love donations in her memory to Amnesty International, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Public Radio, or Public Broadcasting Service.
