We bid farewell to Marlys M. Bartholomew of Rochester, Minnesota, born in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Marlys touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Magnus Nelson and Marie Nelson; her husband Charles Batholomew; and her brother Maynard Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Bartholomew (Julie), Rebecca Ness (David), Sue Pearson (Joe) and Barb Palmby (Paul); her grandchildren, CJ, Jesse, Brooke, Holly, Tucker, Taylor, Arthur, Katie and Tessa; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Julia, Breklynn, Emma, Maddie, Paige, Kian and Milani; and her brother LaVerne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marion Road Christian Church (4051 50th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
