With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene Goplen of Rochester, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Hrtanek and Adeline Hrtanek; and her brother Michael Hrtanek (Goplen). She is survived by: her husband Steven Goplen; her children, Kim Miller (Dennis) and Darrin Goplen (Audrey); her grandchildren, Alyssa Miller (AJ), Mackenzi Goplen (Jason) and Henry Miller (Andrea); her great grandchild Hayden Hawkins; and her siblings, Martha Zelinski (Kay), Matthew Hrtanek, Marilyn Nelson (Dean), Margorie Reynolds (Frank), Patrick Hrtanek (Sandy), Ronnie Hrtanek (Gail), Rudy Hrtanek, Barbara Guenther (Dave), Donnie Hrtanek (Nicole) and Brenda Hrtanek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lands Lutheran Church (16640 Hwy 60 Blvd, Zumbrota, MN 55992). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
