She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rooyen and Lucy Van Rooyen; and her brother Harvey Van Rooyen (James Potter). She is survived by: her sister Luella Strand (Paul); her sons, Charles Potter (Bonita) and Donald Potter; and her granddaughters, Lauren Olson (Eric) and Abigail Potter (Benjamin Brueske).
The family has requested donations to Gift of Life Transplant House or Mayo Clinic Hospice.
