He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Dorothy; his brothers, James Grunden and Ronnie; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Grunden and John Pagel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Sires (Steven) of Houston and Joyce Grunden of Rochester; his grandchild Jamie Baumann (Zeb) of Houston; his children, Brittany Karlsbroten (Shane) of Chadwick, IL, Andy Sires (Shannon) of La Crescent, Troy Sires of Ringgold, GA and Christian Sires (Melody) of Lewiston; his great grandchildren, Kate, Emily Baumann, Oakley Karlsbroten, Elsie and Lyndon Sires; his sister-in-law Kay Grunden of Remsen, IA; and his siblings, Art Grunden (Jane) of Sun Prairie, WI and Bonnie Pagel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hoff Funeral Home (710 E Cedar St, Houston, MN 55943). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
