With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Giere of Rochester, Minnesota, born in Willow River, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pembleton and Ruth Pembleton (Priebe); her children, Heidi Boysen and Thomas Boysen; and her brother Glenn Pembleton.
She is survived by: her husband Jon Giere of Rochester, MN; her son Peter Boysen (Kris) of Duluth, MN; her stepdaughters, Wendy Frye (Lawrence) of Atlanta, Georgia, Michelle Babcock (Rick) of Wabasha, MN and Sandy Furr (Kevin) of Rochester, MN; her daughter-in-law Deanna Boysen of Isanti, MN; and her sisters, Bonnie Hotopp of Racine, MN and Diana Fors (Leroy) of Oracle, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
