She was predeceased by: her parent Chandler Voorhees. She is survived by: her mother Joan Voorhees (Schneider) of Lewisburg, PA; her children, Lucas of Rochester, MN and Anna of Rochester, MN; her husband John Shaffer; and her sisters, Joan Cummins (Steve) of Palatine, IL and Sarah Hershberger (Chad) of Mifflinburg, PA..

Memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester, Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (ocrahope.org) or Mayo Clinic Hospice.
