He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fibison and Martha Fibison (Zian); and his sister Marie Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Fibison of Rochester, MN; his sons, John Fibison (Jennifer) of Rochester, MN and Michael Fibison (Diana) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Allison, Andrew Fibison and Nicholas Fibison; and his brother George Fibison (Joanne) of Stillwater, MN..
