She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Kusch, Sr. and Katharina Ullrich Kusch; her husband Donald W. Schwartz; and her siblings, Esther Hawley, Edna Paris, Fritz, Lucas, Ernst Jr. and William Kusch.
She is survived by: her children, Nadine Avary (Jim) of Gretna and Rev. Nathaniel Schwartz (Gretchen) of Rochester, Minnesota..
