He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thiele and Evelyn Thiele (Swenson); his stepmother Georgia (Dolly); and his sister Yvonne. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Olson of Rochester, MN; his children, Eric and Jennifer of Owatonna, MN; and his brother Galen (Teri Thiele) of Bella Vista, AR..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Pius Church (1315 12th Ave NW, Rochester, MN 55901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
