He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shea and Ida Shea (Herman); and his siblings, Elaine Bailey, R. Marie Mac, Joseph, Robert and Verne.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Shea of Rochester; his children, MaryJo Stehley (Alan) of Rochester, Anne Shea of Rochester, John Shea (Angela) of Dover, Thomas Shea (Melissa) of Viola, Sara Jensen (Mike) of Byron, Michael Shea (Shantel) of Hastings, Joanie Thompson (Greg) of Eyota, Jason Shea (Mindy) of Viola, Jyll Rizzo (Michael) of Rochester and Matthew Shea (Kaitlyn Harberts) of Dover; and his brother Mario Shea Lorenz (Frances) of Tacoma, WA.. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1900 E 6th St, St Charles, MN 55972). A rosary was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
