It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Leonard of Rochester, Minnesota, born in Gates, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lassiter and Maude Lassiter (Piland); and her siblings, James Lassiter, Jr., Bobby Ray Lassiter and Nancy Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband George Leonard of Rochester; her children, Sarah Jane Lazer (Scott) of Rochester and William Allen Leonard (Jessica) of Akron, Ohio; and her sisters, Alice May Lane of Suffolk and Susie Lamb (Merrill) of Hobbsville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
