He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ganun and Evelyn Ganun; his wife Mariam; his sister Betty Koppelman; his son Vail Ganun; and his grandson Brandon Ganun.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gwendolyn Haddad (Tony) of Spring Valley, Gail Prechel (Jim) of Owatonna and Gay Scharpen (Leslie) of Rochester, Minnesota; and his pet Marley. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home (1105 12th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Because of his love for dogs, the family requests memorials to Camp Companion (P.O. Box 7478, Rochester, MN 55903) which is foster care for adoptable pets.
