With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Kay Klennert of Rochester, Minnesota, born in Riceville, Iowa, who passed away on November 17, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Myers, and Dorothy Myers, Sr. (Metz); her husband Michael Klennert; her siblings, George, Ben, Gordon, William, Fred Myers, Eleanor Leonard and Linda Vining; her siblings-in-law, Tom Leonard, Inga Myers and Chari Myers; and her grandchildren, Ryan Siewert and Derek Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Siewert (Wade) of Lake City, Mary Gastner of Rochester, Dorothy O'Reilly (Zach) of Goodhue, Ernest Klennert (Kellie Tatge) of Alexandria, David Klennert (Michael Goll) of St. Cloud and Bernard Klennert (Michelle) of Plainview; her siblings, Barbara Burfeind (Harold), Connie Minnick (Jim), Lloyd Myers, Jr., Larry Myers (Diane), Gary Myers (Liz) and Berneta "Nete" Reinhard (Donald); and her sisters-in-law, Edith Myers, Velda Myers, Marilyn Myers and Helen Myers. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schleicher Funeral Homes & Cremation Services- Lake City (1865 US-61, Lake City, MN 55041). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
