He is survived by: his wife Char of Rochester; his son Scott Ellefson of Urbandale, IA; his sister Barb Karau (Gary) of Rochester; and his sister-in-law Joan Brown of Rochester. He is also survived by two step-granddaughters; four step-great grandchildren.
