Sue Nash wrote a sympathy message

“What a shock to hear the news of Dave's passing. I had the honor of teaching with him at Augsburg a decade ago. He was so energetic and passionate about his profession and about life. He was a joy to work with and I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Sending prayers for strength during this challenging time.”
